Genealogical Journeys In Time supports the work of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. If you think you have seen a missing child, contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children directly at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678). Callers without access to the US 800 telephone system should call 1-703-522-9320.
Displaying images of missing children has proven to be one of the most successful methods of finding missing children. One in seven children is recovered as a direct result of the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children's photo-distribution initiatives. The java banner below runs continuously and rotates 12 photographs of missing children. The images are updated automatically by NCMEC's web server to assure that only current information is displayed. All of the banners are linked to the NCMEC's website. Click on any one for more information on each child, child-safety information, to report child sexual exploitation, etc.
You will need the Java Plug-in to run this banner on your computer.
Most computers come with the Java Plug-in already installed, but Windows XP does not.
